The last step in finalizing a title and preparing to send it to manufacturing is the 'Approve to Print' stage. See this article for specific details about this stage.

Prior to the implementation of our event notifications, the user performing the Approve to Print step would automatically receive an email if specification issues were found. With the release of our event notifications feature, that specific email was removed from the system and users must now subscribe to this specific event. Subscribing to this event allows not only the user performing the Approve to Print step to receive an event notification, but also any other user who wishes to receive them, which was not possible under the previous method.

Follow these steps to subscribe to event notifications that may arise during the specification check process:

1. Login to Lakeside Scout.

2. Access the 'My Notifications' feature (see this article for details).

3. Under the File Check Event section, configure the Specifications Warning/Errors portion as shown below. For complete details on all event notifications and the meaning of each option, refer to the article mentioned in step 2. There are 20 subscribable event notifications to keep you fully informed throughout the workflow process.
